As recently sent, I treat my patients the way You 
did, debridement gap closure with 
glutar-pericardium (patient himself or 
commercial). I prefer  (if there is one 
available) a full pericardial, gluteraldehyde 
preserved, sorin freedom stentless prosthesis to 
bypass the affected area otherwise an homograftif 
available, otherwise a medtronic freestile. I 
believe in the sterilizing virtue of glutaraldehyde!
