[HSF] diamond skip anastomosis

No it is a guess for all of us a presume, but it conveys a sense of scale to the problem/ technique. Concrete (as in drawings and better pictures) does allow us to compare verbal metaphors. I was wondering looking at your pictures, by the way, if the operating microscope might not have a place with this technique.

Interestingly I was thinking about Tohru's experience in "all" (sic) arterial grafting in 50kg Chinese, excuse my geographical blunder, Japanese women when that whole discussion of surgeons as risk adverse and hand in glove analogy for surgeon and evidence evolved. See the logic? If you do, it may be time for a checkup.

Tea,
I can't answer that. I have never measured them, I would guess ~ 4mm.
They are probably a bit shorter than the maximum allowable for the
conduit diameter but are not consciously made longer for a large graft.
In other words the arteriotomy is short enough to accommodate my
smallest graft which is probably 3mm. ( again, not something I measure)
