Subject: [HSF] Main PA 4.8 cm and CAD
Dear HSF members,
I am doing a 'straightforward' coronary tomorrow on a 60 yo vet. He has
a known 5.1 cm infrarenal AAA. During vascular workup found to have a
main PA aneurysm. The maximal diameter is 4.8 cm on axial views of the
chest. It is 4.3 cm on sagittal views just above the valve. There are
no peripheral pulmonary aneurysms. No evidence on physical exam for
Bechet's. His right heart cath demonstrated normal pulmonary pressures.
My partner and I have elected to leave it alone. Anyone feel any
different?
