[HSF] Warfarin for rings

I agree with Tom; no anticoagulation for bioprosthetic valves or rings for 17 years. We know about all of the events in our patients, as the cardiologists are in our same office. The approach has worked and been safe. I believe there was a survey at the WTSA a few years ago, subsequently published, that showed that was standard practice, at least in the western US and western Canada. chuckdouville

I think we can establish a surveymonkey poll and call it the HSF standard of
care that No warfarin be given for rings and bioprosthetic valves. Maybe the
surveymonkey poll could be made into a paper for the HSF Could it  Dr
Levinson ? I can set up the survey monkey poll easily.
