Glad to see you quoting Kuhn. I gave a lecture "The Mitral Paradigm" in  
which  I started with Kuhn. The lecture described how understanding  of the
mitral 
valve had shifted since the time of Galen. Actually it is not  just the 
protagonists must die but also the dumber of their pupils, the ones who
never ask 
questions. Your quote was for years extremely apt for the tricuspid  valve.
