[HSF] off-pump CABG and mesenteric ischemia

There are several things going on here, one which may we have different experiences despite the common moniker of off pump. In my hands virtually all patients have low urine output for several hours ultimately of little consequence except for the manipulations to improve it by some.
A little dobutamine is relatively harmless and may cover some mild ills.

Actually from several weeks ago our protocol for off-pump suregry has been as follows:
when urine out put decreases for more than 30 minutes we check for mixed venous blood gas parameters and if PCO2 >nl,PO2<nl,So2<nl then suppose that despite acceptable MAP , C.O is low and start Dobutamine which usually corrects the above mentioned parameters .
